WILSON VARSITY CHEER TAKES 1st PLACE AT NATIONALS!
We couldn't be prouder of our 17 member varsity cheer squad who just returned from Las Vegas where they competed against the top qualifying high school cheerleading teams in the nation at the JAMZ All-Star National Cheerleading Championship, AND TOOK HOME FIRST PLACE! This is a huge accomplishment for any cheerleading squad but even more so for our girls who experienced a major flood in their hotel on the night before competition and were forced to compete in soaking wet uniforms after getting very little sleep. That didn't stop them from performing a spot-on perfect routine and winning first place! The girls are coached by Brooke Mastroluca-Birdsall and performed a routine choreographed by Louis Murcia with Synergy All-Stars. CONGRADULATIONS VARSITY CHEER!

The Wilson Varsity and JV teams will be performing at JAMZ exhibition and competition on Saturday, March 23rd at Knotts Berry Farm. Please come out and see this talented group of cheerleaders at their final competition/exhibition of the season.

Big congrats go out to both the JV and Varsity cheer squads for taking FIRST PLACE in their divisions at the JAMZ Palms & Pyramids Cheer and Dance Competition on Sunday, January 13th at the Cal State Long Beach Pyramid. With over 100 talented dance and cheer teams from all around the southland competing, we are very proud of our girls. The girls are coached by former Wilson Bruin cheerleader, Brooke Mastroluca-Bridsall, and performed routines choreographed by Luise Murcia with Synergy All-Stars. WAY TO GO GIRLS!

We are thrilled to welcome Brooke Birdsall (formerly Mastroluca) as our new cheer coach. Brooke is a former Bruin cheerleader who also has many years experience as a competitive gymnast and cheerleader.
